Registered under the Indian Trust Act, Newlife foundation is a not for profit social development Organization. Our activities are focused on development and empowerment women and children. The foundation comprises of well experienced people who have been in development, service to mankind, livelihoods (farm and non-farm), Education, Child development and Health sectors. New life foundation was started on September 2013 with 5 children. It has, at present Residential 20 children Orphans and Semi-Orphans and Non-Residential 70 children those who are poor and slum children, above children ranging in age from 4-12 years, All of them have either been abandoned or orphaned. Among the total 20, the girls constitute 50% and the boys 50%. With the objective of providing relief and solace to the poor and needy by imparting education and social welfare in India. The main motto is to aid as many underprivileged persons as possible to get education, which, for them would not be possible otherwise. The trust is also interested in opening homes for the mentally challenged, and the aged. New life foundation was initially formed to extend a helping hand, in every possible manner, to every needy and deserving individual and focus to orphanage children & destitute-Street children. Foundation is concentrating on ORPHANS with the dream to transform their misfortune into fortune through humble and dedicated efforts. The challenge is enormous but foundation is well placed to meet it. The organization uses quality research and data to understand issues, implements new and innovative interventions that address the situation of children, and works with partners to bring those innovations to fruitition. Our organization is uses its community-level knowledge to develop innovative interventions to ensure that women and children are able to access basic services such as clean water, health visitors and educational facilities, and that these services are of high quality. At the same time, reaches out directly to families to help them to understand what they must do to ensure their children thrive. It is located in Hyderabad. These enable the organization to focus attention on the poorest and most disadvantaged communities, alongside its work at the national level. New life foundation knows that key to addressing these challenges are its partnerships with voluntary organizations active at the community level, women’s groups and donors. The organization also works with an array of celebrities leading actors from the Indian film industry, as well as hundreds of thousands of unnamed volunteers who tirelessly give their time and influence to ensure that, together, they are able to help every child realize his or her full potential. How We Adopt Orphans We have been indentifying street / Orphan/ Semi- Orphan children through our voluntaries, citizens, police. We counsel and arreange for emotional acceptance of the child. We have been providing lodging and boarding facilities for all inmates in our orphanage Home. We admit children falling into the following categories · Children are who lost their parents. · Children who have lost at least one parent. · children of physically / mentally challenged parents · Children from poor families. Our Projects Orphanage Home for children : Human beings common ambition is to wait for aid from others even though they have parents, relatives and friends. In respect of Orphans, they don’t know their parents and they can’t even plan their future life. In order to provide institutional shelter to such of those orphans and to curb them education from LKG to PG level / professional and vocational courses, so as to enable them to lead self help sustenance in the world. They in turn extend their helping hand to some other infants. Home for aged men and women : It is our object to provide and run an old aged home to neglected parents by their children and who were thrown out of home after settled with jobs and wealth. We are observing in real life and through daily newspapers that the old aged men and women are being left on roads / platforms in helpless condition. In such a state, those aged poor people will normally expect their children’s support and affection. The aged people who lack family support and are unable to feed for themselves or do not have assured income usually will have a proper claim to the benefits. So it is proposed to extend free shelter and food, protection and welfare to them with the motto ‘Service to mankind is service to God’ and to encourage them voluntarily with medicate and non institutional service. Home for the Mentally and Physically Handicapped: Some of the kids/infants who do not realize their parents are feeding with food thrown on dust bins inhumanly. They do not have a plan of real life and spend their nights on platforms or trees under rain or heat. It is proposed to serve voluntarily to uplift such rural poor kids especially those suffering from physical and mental disability by providing food, shelter, education and medical aid. In our Indian society, we are finding that lakhs of people suffering with handicapness; some are totally blind and visually handicapped; some are profoundly deaf. Their way of life cannot be described and they are leading unhappy life with untold sufferings. In such cases, prevention of disability is not possible. In these state of affairs, it is our aim to extend some monitory relief or to provide needy standard appliances that could promote their physical, social and psychological rehabilitation. As far as possible, we may contribute / supply the orthotic and prosthetic aids, tricycles, wheel chairs, hearing aid machines, rolators (walker) etc. appliances to those handicapped persons. Besides utilization of existing ophthalmic services and eye camps, there is need to intensity public education on ‘donation of eyes’ and there is absolute justification to organize eye campaigns in rural areas to spread the necessity of donating eyes in accidental deaths, brain deaths etc. cases. It is our broad aim to provide a Rehabilitation Centre for Mentally retarded and physically challenged persers and to run with comprehensive rehabilitation programmes and extending Therapeutic service, so that those persons could be integrated into the main stream of community life forgetting their disabilities. AIDs / HIV: The aim of our foundation is to provide and promote health education activities, particularly in rural / slum areas. In this phase of activity, it is proposed to organize AIDs campaigns emphasizing safe service and support and secure cooperation of local Doctors to start intensive and extensive propaganda through campaigns; thereby the general public may take preventive steps from HIV/AIDs diseases. It is also our goal to extend the provision of nutritious food to these poor patients. Environment development : It is also our Endeavor to create awareness among the general masses about various pollutions and benefits of the environment; for which some of the rural sanitation programmes are to be taken up first and conduct tree plantation programmes. At the same time, we will encourage rural masses towards the use of alternative sources of energy like solar cookers, solar lamps to various environmental pollution and to discourage the use of plastic items, for which we will establish an Environment Society in village level and organize environmental awareness campaigns.
